Immediate Action Creating Impact
The Covid situation throughout Malaysia is very REAL, and the daily statistics is a grim reminder to stay vigilant, and not become complacent. We are grateful to our hospitals and medical frontliners for their tireless efforts and unselfish dedication thus far, but we must collectively work together to confront and control the spread of the virus. The pandemic is far from over, and our hospitals and medical frontliners still need our help. Help us help them to save lives.
CovidFund.my: Turning Words Into Action
In response to the critical need for life-saving medical equipment and essential medical supplies, CovidFund.my, an initiative by BAC Education Group was aptly launched on 1st August 2021. Together with partners Rotary District 3300, Yayasan Kelab-kelab Rotary Malaysia, The Malaysian Association of Hong Kong, and Make It Right Movement, the fund aims to raise RM1 Million to procure and deliver urgently needed medical equipment to hospitals. To date, RM200,000 has been raised, and supplies have been sent to five hospitals in the Klang Valley. As hospitals in the Klang Valley begin to see signs of victory against the fight, the call for immediate humanitarian assistance are now from hospitals in other states.
