Health Clinics In Sabah Receive 3-Parameters Vital Signs Monitors

Today, hospitals around the Klang Valley are beginning to see a drop in Covid-19 related hospital admissions and ICU referrals. However, it is not a time for us as a nation to rest on one’s oars.  Pleas for help are now pouring in from medical facilities and frontliners from hospitals in other states.

Over the past 10 days, Sabah, a state in West Malaysia has recorded one of the highest death rates, and healthcare workers are beginning to feel the strain.

On 1st September 2021, CovidFund secured the purchase of 3 Vital Signs Monitors (3-parameters), with a total value of RM19,500. These monitors were then delivered to Dr. Ian Bede at Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri Sabah. The monitors, costing Rm6,500 each will be channeled to 3 Klinik Kesihatans located at Putatan, Penampang and Luyang.

We know that these equipment will be put to good use, where our healthcare professionals in the three clinics above will be able to record patients’ vital readings.
